Had a very eventful automotive day today. Including Cars and Coffee and the spring open house at the Lingenfelter Collection. The Metro Detroit area is amazing for automotive events on weekends. Will be heading out to Woodward tonight - its the first good weekend night of the season so I'm expecting to at least see a few cars.
First Cars and Coffee at Pasteiners on Woodward. We got there at 9:55 as things were wrapping up, but there were still some cool cars.
This picture makes me feel like I jumped into a time machine to the 60s. With the Mustang, Lincoln and Chrysler parked on the side and the Chevy on the street.
Not sure how I feel about these wheels
Not too sure what was going on with this Mustang. Those hooks were connected to nothing more than the splitter. Seems like thats a stupid way to pull a car.
And then we hit up the Lingenfelter Collection open house. I didn't take too many pictures since most of the cars were the same as !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Also I found out about a new area Cars and Coffee I'm going to have to check out at some point.
And I bought a bunch of really cool vintage magazines. As I go through them, I'll post the really cool stories and the cars that have been long forgotten.
I've never even heard of the Ford Mexico
Oh! And I almost forgot the video!

I would guess it's so he can clip on moar splitter for the track, and not rip it off going up his driveway.
